Arts. Community. Heritage
A new cultural venue in the heart of the Trossachs.
Friends of Trossachs is creating a welcoming place for music, art, ideas and community within the historic Trossachs Church on the shores of Loch Achray.
Following the building's acquisition from the Church of Scotland, we are beginning the process of sensitive, 'light touch' restoration as we reimagine this remarkable place while retaining the integrity of its former life. Trossachs will continue to be a unique and special place for performances, exhibitions, learning and celebration.
Friends of Trossachs is an independent Scottish charity working to conserve this much-loved landmark while creating a vibrant home for arts, culture and community.
Our programme brings together music, exhibitions, talks, workshops, heritage, and events that connect people with this extraordinary landscape.
The Building
The former Trossachs Church is among Scotland's most distinctive rural churches, set amongst some of the country's most celebrated scenery.
Carefully restored and sensitively adapted, it will continue to serve the community in a new way—honouring its heritage while welcoming new audiences for generations to come.
For more than 175 years, this building has been part of the life of the Trossachs.
